Why I created Eco-centric

​

My own journey started about 25 years ago, when my love for animals and nature first blossomed during my childhood. It was then I started to realise where some food came from! One night, I sat at the table and couldn’t eat my tea. When my Mum asked if I was ok, I told her I didn’t want to eat meat anymore. Mum was great - she leapt into action by making sure I had food, was well nourished and she always respected my decision.

 

That set me on a path of discovering how to live a sustainable, planet and animal friendly life in a way that is simple and achievable.

 

While I’ve always recycled and kept a wildlife friendly garden, dabbled in growing veg and enjoyed nature - I am still learning and growing.
